The 7th and 8th grade students shared their STREAMS Projects with the school today. Their work incorporated Science, Technology, Religion, English, Art, Math and Spanish. Teams selected a Central or South American country and determined a real world problem that exists and conducted a related science experiment for a possible solution. They addressed social justice issues, researched Americans of that heritage, build upon their writing skills and showed evidence of their math skills. Use of the 3 D printer allowed all of the teams to display an item of their choice from their selected country and the artwork that was incorporated was outstanding. Projects will be on display tonight (Monday) in Smith Hall from 7:00pm-8:00pm and until noon on Tuesday.
