SSJ Wednesday Morning Assembly – 11/2/16
This morning, our assembly was packed with fun and information. After prayer and pledge, we enjoyed a skit about the jog-a-thon, a skit about bullying prevention, and we honored our auction chairs with baskets that will be presented in their honor at Night of Hope this Saturday night. We even met an author, who was here to visit, talk with students about writing books, and to sign books. Her name is Bridget Heos, and she is AWESOME! She wrote the book “Mustache Baby,” which is a Grand Canyon Readers Award winning book. Our students participated in voting for the Grand Canyon Awards last April and loved this book, helping it win. SSJ is a GREAT place to be!! And remember to BE KIND!!
