Mrs. Justine Keebler
Mrs. Justine Keebler has been a physical education teacher and coach at SSJ since 2001. She has three boys that attend SSJ and would have it no other way. “I knew before we had children that I would want them to attend SSJ. I attended Catholic school as a child and maintain many of those friendships still today”. Coach Keebler loves working with Pre-K through eighth grade and hopes to instill a love of exercise in each child. In addition, she loves that she can share her faith with her students. “Not only do I have an extremely fun and fulfilling job, I also get to share my faith on a daily basis.”
Mr. James Treon
Mr. James Treon is in his first year as the boys PE teacher and Athletic Director here at Ss. Simon and Jude School. James is an alumnus of SSJ, class 2001. After SSJ he attended Brophy College Preparatory and continued his studies at John Carroll University where he earned his degree in Exercise Science and Physical Education. James looks forwards to getting to know all his athletes, their families, as well as the SSJ community as a whole. Incorporating games of strategy and skill into his curriculum, James will foster an environment for relationships to grow as students use teamwork work to accomplish individual and group goals.
“It is our hope that students in our classes will develop a general knowledge and skill of sports, as well as a love for activity. In addition to physical activity, we also work on building sportsmanship and problem-solving skills. We hope each student leaves SSJ with at least one activity, recreational or organized, that he/she will continue throughout their teen years in order to keep a healthy body and lifestyle.”
