Mrs. Justine Keebler
Mrs. Justine Keebler has been a physical education teacher and coach at SSJ since 2001. She has three boys that attend SSJ and would have it no other way. “I knew before we had children that I would want them to attend SSJ. I attended Catholic school as a child and maintain many of those friendships still today”. Coach Keebler loves working with Pre-K through eighth grade and hopes to instill a love of exercise in each child. In addition, she loves that she can share her faith with her students. “Not only do I have an extremely fun and fulfilling job, I also get to share my faith on a daily basis.”
Mr. Adam Kennedy
Mr. Adam Kennedy comes to us with public, private, and Catholic school teaching experience in physical education and as a 3rd grade teacher. He also spent 7 years as Director of Athletic Camps and Club Sports at St. Mary’s College of California. His diverse background in athletics, teaching, and recreation is an asset as SSJ’s Boys PE teacher and Athletic Director. He also has a 3rd grade daughter at SSJ who competes in gymnastics and says she loves Catholic School because “I want to be able to talk about God at school.” Coach Kennedy is excited to share his Catholic morals, fitness, love of running and sports with the SSJ community.
“It is our hope that students in our classes will develop a general knowledge and skill of sports, as well as a love for activity. In addition to physical activity, we also work on building sportsmanship and problem-solving skills. We hope each student leaves SSJ with at least one activity, recreational or organized, that he/she will continue throughout their teen years in order to keep a healthy body and lifestyle.”
