Are you looking for a way to become actively involved in your child’s experience at SSJ?

The Mothers’ Guild presents this opportunity by offering fun and informative ways to stay in touch with what is happening, enhance your relationship with your children, deepen existing
friendships and make new friends.

You determine your involvement. It may be as little as periodically attending the monthly lunch meetings to keep up on the latest happenings at SSJ or you can choose to join a committee or two and volunteer your time and talents.

Mission Statement:
The Mother's Guild is an organization comprised of women associated with SSJ that want to provide:

• Service to SSJ students and their families
• Service to SSJ faculty, administration, and staff
• Help with communications between SSJ and the community
• Help in fundraising projects approved by SSJ administration

The guild offers its members the opportunity to:

Get involved in SSJ
Make new friends and stay informed at SSJ
Stay connected to the SSJ community

The Mothers’ Guild is a gathering for fellowship, a chance to be a part of the SSJ community. We support numerous activities including: Welcome to new SSJ families, Magazine Drive, Jog-A-Thon, Auction, Project Graduation, Historian, Communication Committee, Hospitality, Meeting Hospitality, Bereavement, and much, much more.

The Mothers’ Guilds goal is to create a fellowship amongst our school community. We need your help to make this group a success. Please join us and become a member. Monthly meetings (with potluck lunches) will usually be held on the third Wednesday of each month from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

A play area will be available so you can bring the little ones. Also, an after drop-off meeting from 7:45 a.m. - 9:15 a.m. has been scheduled for October for those who are unable to attend the luncheon meetings.

Who can join?
Any mom or legal guardian of a student enrolled at Ss. Simon and Jude.  The only requirements for membership are enthusiasm,
a desire to serve, and a love for our kids.
 

What types of programs are available?
The Guild activities are member-driven and strive to provide something for everyone. A mom is welcomed to join as many or as few committees as she chooses.
