It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Our third graders went on their field trip to the pumpkin patch yesterday – and today was the start of ewwwy-gooey PUMPKINOLOGY! Some of the kids LOVE digging into their pumpkins, others, not so much! But they will learn all kinds of good things from their pumpkins…such as estimating the weight, finding the circumference, counting longitudinal ridges, estimating the number of SEEDS in the pumpkin, do pumpkins float? etc. etc. What FUN – and such great memories!!!
