I am a Chicago native who joined the SSJ community in 2011 after my family relocated to Phoenix.  In Illinois I taught third and fourth grades in the public school system while my own children attended Catholic school.  I was excited to have an opportunity to teach here at Ss. Simon and Jude where I am able to live and share my faith while modeling Catholic values to my students.  The faculty and staff are so supportive and always have the best interests of the children at heart.  I have been impressed by the numerous opportunities students have to participate in sports, music, theater, and community service.

I grew up in northern California and later earned my degree in Mathematical Sciences in southern California at the University of California, Santa Barbara. My husband and I moved to Arizona in 1995.  My two sons attended SSJ and the friendships all of us made during those years have lasted the test of time.  I am thrilled to return to SSJ as a teacher.  Having taught at a nearby public school, I appreciate the greatness that comes from practicing our faith in the classroom.  The Mary Ward principles and the Loreto Sisters teach our students life lessons that reach beyond the math book.  I know math stirs up anxiety in many people.  I will always be patient and provide students with the tools needed to be successful.  ☘
