Students at Ss. Simon & Jude Elementary School greet Sister Raphael

Students at Ss. Simon & Jude Elementary School greet Sister Raphael Quinn, IBVM after being named KEZ’s Woman of the Year by Beth MacDonald at a luncheon held  at the Hyatt Gainey Ranch.

Sister Raphael Quinn has been principal since 1972, and in that time, has touched the lives of thousands of students and their families in a profound way. Last fall, alumni, parents and current students were confidentially invited to write letters to KEZ to nominate Sr. Raphael for this wonderful honor. More than 200 letters were sent to KEZ to nominate her for Woman of the Month.

She received the honor for the month of December and was then added to the nominees for Woman of the Year.
