KINDERGARTEN

Mrs. Stacia Statt, ‘85, has been teaching kindergarten at SSJ since 1999. She

was the 2009 Alumni Spirit Award recipient, her husband is a 1984 SSJ

graduate, and all of her three children have graduated from or are currently

attending the school. She says, “I am honored to work with Sister Raphael. It is

special to me to continue to have her spiritual and educational influence in my life

as a teacher. I also love the SSJ community and working together with parents. I

am proud to be a teacher here.”

Mrs. Lacey Bons, ‘96, has been teaching kindergarten at SSJ since 2004.

She says, “As an SSJ alumni, it has been so amazing to come back to the

community where I grew up and give back as a teacher. I love what I am

doing and who I am working with. Since I was in kindergarten, I have known

that I wanted to be a teacher, and I feel very blessed to be doing what I

love. I am continually amazed at how much our students grow and learn here,

not just in their academic knowledge, but also their spirituality, self-discipline,

and willingness to be leaders in their school community and beyond. I feel

privileged to be a part of their journey at SSJ.”
